Hi! My name is Kailey and I am a San Francisco-based ceramicist. I began my pottery journey in October 2021 when I truly needed creativity the most.

I had been interested in taking a pottery class at the studio near my apartment for a couple of months, but the classes were always sold out. I finally subscribed to their newsletter and signed up for the next round of classes as soon as they went live—I was so excited.

Spoiler alert: I loved the class.

I have always been a creative person and loved art, but I never expected to fall in love with pottery like this! Pottery is the most therapeutic, grounding, and challenging hobby I have ever picked up. I love getting to see my ideas come to life and continue to push myself more and more each day.

I created bean to share my journey with you. A little piece of me lives in every piece and I am so excited I get to share my creations with you. Each one is thought out, handcrafted, seeking its forever home.
